What happens if I forget my Pin Number? If you forget your pin just SMS/Email or call us on the emergency cell 0722641939 and we will give it to you. The store also has access to a list of pin numbers in the YELLOW DVBee file situated in the store office.
How do I return DVD’s that I’ve rented out? You can return DVD’s via the same slot on the Dvbee as you receive them. As an additional security precaution, you will need to swipe your membership card or credit card again when you return the DVD’s.
What about my change? The Dvbee does not dispense change. Simply charge your membership card with either R100, R50 or R20 notes to rent out DVD's. Rental rates apply and any balance is kept on your membership card.
What if the DVD is scratched? If a DVD is scratched, it is important that we are notified. Please email reception@dvbee.com or sms 072 264 1939 and specify the bar code number on the disc; then return the movie as usual to stop the charges on your account. We will process a refund on your rental. In addition we will open up an enquiry into that scratched stock, recording the previous customer details. If a customer turns up on two occasions in this manner, that customer will be notified and asked to provide a proof of service on his player.
How often are the machines updated with new releases? We strive to update our kiosks with new titles on a weekly basis, usually on a Monday.
What are the deadlines for returning movies? Titles are rented out on either a 6 hour or 24 hour rental rate. Rentals not returned to the dispenser within a period of 10 days shall be considered lost and shall attract the appropriate 24hr rental charge for the 10 days as well as a lost rental charge. The dispensers will not accept the return of rentals 10 days or older as these are then considered SOLD. If we are notified of a lost rental prior to the ten day threshold then only those days rented and the lost rental charge shall apply. Defaulting payments will have to be handed over to our debt collection agency for processing.
How many movies can I have out at the same time? You can rent a maximum of three movies with both the Membership and Credit card options. |
